School²

I know, I know… I forgot a couple of thing from school! But I will repair my foretold mistake right now!

So… First of all, a funny story of a stupid thing Nathie did… No offense Nathie, but it’s really funny!

She was in secondary 2 (If I remember well…), and she was outside with her friends. They decided to engrave the table on which they had sat on, so somebody got out some scissors and started. They all tried and when it was Nathie’s turn, She got caught! It cost her 25 disciplinary points and she had to do community work for I think something like 1 or 2 months…LOL!

There was that, and her favorite subject. Nathie really likes history as a subject because of all the interesting facts that come out of the lessons. She also really like french because of the teacher (Louise Desrochers) this year. I have to say that that teacher is really good!

Anyway that’s it for that!

AFRICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's a little story I wrote of fictional future years...

Changing the world “à la Nathie”

Finally! After what seemed like a million hours of flight, I’ve finally made it to Africa! This interview that I’m doing on an old school friend better be good, because I usually don’t go as far as Africa. Let alone in a freight plane.

Anyway, as I walked out of the place, I noticed a girl standing, apparently waiting for someone. She was easily recognizable. Who else would wait for a freight plane carrying illegal firearms landing in the middle of nowhere next to a herd of giraffes? I greeted her as an old friend. She did too. We instantly started talking about what she was doing in Africa. My notebook and my pen flashed in sight and my hand automatically wrote what Nathie answered.

Turns out that she’s been busy! 20 years have passed, and her crazy dream job IS her job. Taking care of sick orphans in Africa as a nurse is her passion, it shows in Nathie’s way of speaking about her life.

As we arrived at her house, an old dog came slowly towards us. Old school memories of Nathie rushed to my head as I remembered who the dog was. Cybelle! Nathie’s childhood pet! It’s amazing that it’s still alive… Well, it’s a good thing, considering that Nathie loves it so much, she kept it all these years. We entered the house and the small room left me speechless. The walls were vibrant! One was orange, with a big orange tree on it. Ah, nature… It’s always been a part of Nathie. The left sided wall was painted with a red-cross, very representative of her job with the organization. The last and right-sided wall had a built-in desk where scribbled notes, pens and family pictures laid. The place was overall plain, but very cozy.

We sat down on the floor and continued talking. My questions shot out of my mouth like bullets, but amazingly, Nathie answered them all easily. She and I talked about everything, from the death of her grandfather that she idolized as a kid, to her impulsive and ambitious nature. But one thing she said really touched me. She told me that humanity is selfish, and everybody just thinks about themselves all the time. Wouldn’t it be nice if everybody cared about everybody? Nathie even quoted herself!

“L’homme n’est jamais aussi grand que lorsqu’il est à genoux pour un enfant.”

The saying left me at a loss for words. Even if it’s in French, the profoundness got to me. Nathie will change the world, I just know it!

Enjoyed it?

Summer; PARTY IN QUEBEC!!!

A favorite season, everyone has that, right? For Nathie, it’s simple: Summer! She really likes this season because of various things, so I’ll just tell you all some of them.

First of all, Nathie likes summer because of the outdoors! This season is the ideal season to go outside! No snow, no cold, just beauty… In the trees, in the heat, in everything… And all these things inspire her to write poems! That’s right, Nathie is a poetic person. But we all knew that, didn’t we? Of course! She’s always been a very philosophical person, so her writing just makes all the more sense.

Secondly, she likes summer for her job. Speaking of that, let’s talk about it me thoroughly, shall we?

Nathie is a lifeguard at the local beach at her place, Venise-en-Québec (really faraway place, don’t ask me where it is…). She really likes this job because she can get paid to have a nice tan! Nathie also works for friends who has a restaurant called ‘Papion’. She’s been working there since she was 11 years old! I asked her if the job was fun, but she told me that her boss wasn’t the most fun person to have as a boss, so she might quit soon… The people there will miss her, I know it!

Thirdly, summer is fun for her because of the PARTIES!!!!!!!! Nathie is a party girl, and she likes nothing more than a spontaneous party on-the-go where all her friends join in and have fun!

So that's that...

Love's in the air... Don't you see it?

Ah, love… a blissful thing. And what does Nathie have to say about this? Well, stop reading this and go down to the next paragraph!

Nathie has had, in highschool, a couple of lovers. To numerate them, about… 3. I know it doesn’t seem all that big, but I find it quite good, considering I’m not better…Anyway, enough about me!

In secondary 2: Raphael Ponton

In secondary 3: And again, Raphael Ponton

In the summer of secondary 3, going to secondary four: Jonathan Trottier-St-Pierre

In secondary 4: Jesse Saran

In secondary 5: Jesse Saran (and she’s still loves him very much!)

But wait! I’m not finished! What about the juicy information?! Her secret crushes!!! Very, VERY important. Actually, to repeat her words on the subject, let’s say that they’re not really secret crushes, but more people whom she found really nice…

In secondary 1: Vincent Blanchette

In secondary something (Nathie can’t remember xD): Anthony Fortin

That’s pretty much it…

School for Nathie; the classes and her young golden years... :)

School for Nathie is very special, because she is really intelligent! Seriously, not kidding or idolizing her. I mean, if her primary school asked her twice if she wanted to move up a year, why would she be stupid?

That’s right! In primary school, Nathie was asked in kindergarten to skip the next year, because her teacher’s found her completely amazing! Isn’t that something…? Unfortunately, (or fortunately, depending on whose side you look it on…) she never skipped first grade because that very year was the most important; the one where she would learn to read and write. Not the brightest of ideas to go straight to second grade.

But the story doesn’t end there! In second grade, she was asked again to skip a year, but this time Nathie was meant to skip in fourth grade! (duh!) WOW! Never heard of something like that elsewhere… This girl is really something…

So that’s that for primary school. In secondary, it’s a whole different story! She went to the ESMC, or École Secondaire Marcellin-Champagnat if you prefer. Now in that school, a lot of things happened! So let’s start with the basics: the classes.

Nathie loved all her 5 classes aver those 5 years. But she loved them al for different reasons. Her favorite class is the last one, group 52 (I’m in that one!). She likes this one the most because after five years, people have made connections and it creates a big family, something that she’s very fond of. Nathie also loves this group because of the people from the enriched class. Here’s a little explanation:

In secondary one, everyone knows that the enriched group is all together. Unforutnately for Nathie, the enriched class is the one with the most bitches! So when I say that she likes group 52, it’s because all the bitches are in the other class (because after secondary one, the enriched class is separated in two).

I’ve said pretty much everything about school (well, I’m missing some things, but that’ll be remedied…)

See ya all next time!
